The Power of Peace
Reconnect.
No journey of healing the heart or improving the mind is complete without physical alignment. For holistic wellbeing, a healthy mind-body connection is needed, and I believe that Yoga, breathwork, and meditation can help provide this alignment. Whether your journey is one of healing, empowerment, self-improvement, or self-discovery, Yoga, breathwork, and meditation can play a powerful role on the path towards peace.
Release.
The issues are in the tissues. Research has proven that the body really does keep the score, and a dysregulated nervous system has a profound physical impact on our bodies. Fortunately, this is not the end of the story. Through mindful Asanas (poses) and therapeutic Pranayama (breathing), we can repattern and reprogram our nervous system and break unhelpful response patterns that are no longer serving us.
Rebuild.
The Yoga I teach is breath centered Viniyoga, which focuses on bringing awareness and control to the breath and mind. Through gentle poses, breathing and guided meditations, the core practices of Viniyoga offer effective ways to reduce anxiety, manage stress, and restore peaceful wellbeing – especially when done in collaboration with coaching. Yoga and meditation complement coaching in a highly harmonious way. The benefits of Yoga, breathwork, and meditation supercharge and fortify the coaching framework by allowing the body to connect and communicate with the mind.
Yoga & Meditation Virtual Classes
Yoga is for everyone! The Yoga I teach is NOT all about being super flexible and mastering a difficult pose. I approach Yoga from a healing perspective, one that empowers practitioners to manage and transform their thoughts, emotions, breathing patterns, and behaviors in a healthy and calming way. Every class I teach is an invitation for you to get to know yourself on a deeper level.
Going to a Yoga class should not cause stress, and there is no need to leave your home for a therapeutic Yoga class. I have found that virtual Yoga classes and online meditation can be a great, low-anxiety way to conveniently incorporate yoga, breathing practices, and meditation into your daily/weekly routine. Avoid the stress of traffic and join this weekly online Yoga class in the comfort of your own home. In fact, feel free to wear your pajamas to class if that feels right to you.
