Coaching

Embracing your authenticity is the love story of a lifetime.”

What is coaching?

Coaching is a collaborative, supportive relationship between a professionally trained expert (coach) and an individual. During a coaching session, a coach will work with you to explore how your habits, thoughts, and life experiences have shaped you. They’ll also help you gain greater self-awareness so that you can respond to life in a healthy way and accomplish your personal life goals. The purpose of coaching is to take a goal-oriented, solution driven approach to embracing your healthiest, most authentic self.

Is coaching right for me?

Coaching is right for you if…

  • You want to get serious with your life goals and make the life of your dreams your reality.
  • You want to experience a breakthrough on your healing journey.
  • You are exhausted from living in fight or flight mode and reacting to the stress around you.
  • You crave connection with your Inner Child and Inner Adolescent and feel ready to step into full, healthy Adult mode.
  • You want real solutions for reducing anxiety and managing stress.
  • You want to release unhelpful relational habit patterns that are no longer serving you.
  • You are tired of trying to figure life out on your own and would appreciate a compassionate and competent coach to help you accomplish your goals and embrace authentic living.
  • You are exhausted from trying to do it all and be it all and want a life of peaceful wellbeing.

If you can relate to any of the above, then coaching can help.

How it Works

🔆 Step 1

Schedule a complimentary 20-minute virtual discovery session here.

🔆 Step 2

In this 20-mintute intro call, we’ll meet each other, and I will ask you three questions:

What brings you here today?
Share with me why you are seeking life coaching.

What specific goals or outcomes are you hoping to achieve through coaching?
Provide me with a snapshot of the challenges, desires, or areas of life you would like to improve.

What obstacles or challenges do you feel are standing in your way?
Understanding what potential roadblocks are in your way will help me tailor my coaching approach to address these specific concerns.

🔆 Step 3

Once we have been introduced and are on the same page, we can proceed to begin your formal coaching journey. Book a 60-minute session or 30-minute mini session on my calendar here. Immediately following booking, you will receive an email with the Zoom link and session information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Coaching is not the same as psychotherapy. Whereas as a therapist may treat specific mental illnesses, a coach helps you optimize your mindset, clarify intentions, organize your goals, and reprogram thought patterns that are no longer serving you. That said, coaching can be highly therapeutic, and many people prefer coaching over traditional talk therapy because it is more solution-driven and future focused than psychotherapy.

Please reference my current coaching prices here.

We will start off with a 20-minute initial discovery call to get to know one another. We will talk about what’s going on in your life, and what you’re hoping to gain from coaching. We will explore the ways in which I might be able to help, and we will determine if we are a good fit and would like to meet again. There’s no obligation to continue. If we decide to continue, then we will schedule our first coaching session and begin our work together. Payment is due at the time of session booking. Everyone is different. While the techniques can be instantly implemented following a single session, most clients I’ve worked with tend to experience significant growth and improvement following 7 to 10 sessions.

Typically, weekly or biweekly is a good cadence for consistency, application, and implementation. Some clients will engage in coaching once a week or every other week for 3-4 months and then check back in for a booster session once a month to keep on track with their goals and progress.

Coaching is not covered by insurance.

Potentially. Every plan is different, so you would need to ask your provider directly. If you have an HSA, check with your provider to confirm if your HSA account can cover coaching costs.

Yes. I would only give out information if you specifically authorized me to do so or if there was a physical safety concern.

Coaching is a collaborative experience, so first and foremost – please bring your whole self. Come as you are. I invite you to show up however you are feeling that day.

  • Additionally, I recommend you find a quiet/private place, and ideally not at work or anywhere public. Don’t be driving in a car, confirm a stable internet connection, and bring your questions and reflections.
